The Public Software Group [1] released a new major version of
LiquidFeedback. The developers presented LiquidFeedback 2.0 during an

promotes the use of electronic media for democratic processes. The most
important improvements are:

- Support for multiple organizational units, e.g. sub divisions
- New user interface
- An integrated email notification system
- A programming interface with read and write access (still in alpha
  stage for use by developers)
- Improved implementation of Schulze method for preference voting with
detailed configuration of supermajority requirements [3]
- Removed auto-reject and vote later feature to simplify the system
- Integration of Etherpad Lite [4] with automatic creation of issue
  discussion rooms and single sign-on
- Wiki formatting for suggestions, member statements and comments

LiquidFeedback 2.0 is available for download at the official release page [5]
and can be used under the conditions of the MIT license [6].
